API Key & City Data:

The only data we receive is the city tied to your API key (e.g., [api-key] [New York City, USA]). This is provided by our payment processor and is used solely to understand where our users are from. Your API key is never checked for location again, ever.

If you’d like to bypass this, use a different billing address or purchase your API key with crypto. Even without that, there are zero ways to link your transaction to a specific API key.

Data Storage:

• API Keys: API keys are stored in your browser’s local storage. While API keys aren’t inherently sensitive, it is solely up to you to safeguard this information.
• Conversations: Conversations are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB. This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us. It is your responsibility to manage and protect this information.

Data Retention:

No data is retained, ever. Our servers, including inference servers, are located in the United States. We only use destructible instances to serve your conversations—there is never any record of the existence of your conversation on our end. While we will comply with government requests, there is nothing to provide—we have no logs or records of who or what was sent or received on our platform, nor is any API key tied to any specific user.

API Key Usage:

This service is available to individuals 18 years and older.

Security & Compliance:

• We use industry-standard encryption (including HTTPS) to protect your data.
• Our servers are secured with access controls and regular security audits.
• We conduct monthly self-audits and bi-annual third-party audits to ensure compliance.

Policy Changes:

If this policy ever changes, a large red banner will appear on our website/chatbot for 4 weeks (which you can hide), and we’ll announce the change on social media one day before implementation.
